From the Executive Director, Jacqui Fetsko

Just a thought....do we realize the power we have when we speak the truth, when we protest injustice and pursue the good? Do we??? I wonder. We have the capability to share the message so quickly to so many at once, are we taking advantage of that? We have a case of criminal negligence and an illegal abortion right in our own backyard. See here: http://www.operationrescue.org/archives/npr-ignores-facts-about-ohio-abortion-patient-death-while-siding-with-those-that-killed-her/

Where is the public outcry? Where is the Cuyahoga County District Attorney? Ohio Department of Health? Ohio Medical Board? I am unabashedly disgusted by the lack of care for this case. Last year , March 21, 2014, a woman's life was lost along with her baby at the hands of Lisa Perriera who could give a darn about either one of them. I make that assumption since there was no viability testing and apparent record tampering in order to get the almighty dollar(s) from Lakisha Wilson. Preterm has no concern for their malfunctioning elevator nor for their clients who may run into complications (and may need a functioning elevator for life saving help). Folks, THEY DON'T CARE and they know they can get away with it because they have!

I am pleading with all of you to (1) call the powers that be, who should be investigating this case and (2) get others to do the same. We cannot afford to bury our heads in the sand on this one. Preterm should have been closed down a long time ago. Please, do something if you have not already! The names and numbers are below:

Tim McGinty Cuyahoga County Prosecutor, 9th Floor 1200 Ontario, Cleveland OH 44113   (216)443-7800
Richard Hodges, Director Ohio Department of Health 246 High Street, Columbus OH 43215 (614) 466-3543
Mike De Wine, Ohio Attorney General, 30 E. Broad St. 14th Floor, Columbus Ohio 43215   855-224-6446

HUMAN DIGNITY.

AT ALL STAGES.

WITHOUT EXCEPTION.
